I have a question. Can I buy the new lid with thermometer for old 18" smoker (2008 version?)

Those lids should be interchangeable, but i do not know how weber offers them as "spares".

if you used to use a thermometer stuck in a cork placed that in the vent hole, you may have to adjust that vent.

The new larger water pan should fit as well if you think you need that capacity.
