Greetings!
My team will be a few members short for the KCBS CT State BBQ Championship at the Oyster Festival in Norwalk, CT: http://www.norwalkbbq.com The competition goes over three days: Fri 9/10: people's choice chicken wings, Iron Chef, and whole hog distribution Sat 9/11: Grilling contest (4 meats), whole hog, chowder people's choice Sun 9/12: KCBS (4 meats), anything butt, sauce contest We plan to enter nearly every event and so could use some extra help. Our team is new (this will be our 3rd competition this summer) but we have won some grilling medals. If anyone cares to join, please send an email to ejs@ericjsimon.com. We are a friendly team and would welcome anyone from total novices (as long as you are willing to be a gopher/washer/shopper and general helper) to experienced competitors. Anyone with experience creating turn-in boxes is a plus. You are welcome to join for any subset or all of the competition.
