Hey All,

Just purchased my first WSM this past Friday. As I type I have two Boston Butts and Three Racks of Spares on it.

Impressed with it so far, looking forward to learning more about it!

Got the 18.5 thats what they had in stock here locally (always have tried to support the local business, even if it cost more), plus my wife gave me a killer look when she found the price of the 22.5.

Enjoying it so far, looking forward to many more cooks and maybe a few additions.

LC,

Welcome! You'll love your WSM and this site. I can't tell you how much it's helped me. BTW, your 18.5 will be plenty for you and yours. I know there is a "bigger is better" bias sometimes apparent on this site, but I've cooked comfortably for crowds on my 18.5, and saved a ton in purchase price and charcoal costs. Never be afraid to try new foods or flavors, as well. Good luck!
