I've had several people recent re-register because they have changed their e-mail address. Re-registering causes you to lose your post history and should be avoided.

If you get a new e-mail address, all you have to do is update your Groupee profile.

Click the Groupee logo on the right side of this page. Select "Update Groupee Account" from the pop-up menu.

Login to Groupee using your old e-mail address, enter your new e-mail address, and save your change.

You will receive a confirmation e-mail from Groupee at your new e-mail address. Click the link in the message to confirm your new e-mail address and you're done.

Regards,
Chris

Hi Chris, I know this is not the place to be, but, that seems to be my challenge. Where/ho can I edit my profile for mis-spellings, etc. ? Thanks much.

Easiest way from this page is to click your name on your post and choose "View Cliff Parham's Public Profile". Then click "View/Edit Complete Profile" on the following page. Make your changes and click "Submit" at the bottom of the page. The only field you can't edit is your name.

Regards,
Chris

Chris,

Is it possible to change e-mail addresses to use Hotmail yet? I had to register using my work e-mail because there was some sort of LiveCloud problem, and now when I get notifications I can't open them at work because forums are blocked. Thanks!

I'm not sure if that situation has gotten any better. You can give it a try and if it doesn't work you can always change your e-mail back again.

Chris

Thanks Chris. I tried it, but I'm not sure what happened. LiveCloud said my Hotmail address was already registered, even though that never worked, and wouldn't let me change anything.

Is there any way to get your notifications at your public e-mail address?

You have a LiveCloud account using your Hotmail e-mail, but you could never complete the e-mail verification process because Hotmail never delivered the verification e-mail. There's no way you can use that Hotmail address now.

Notifications are only delivered to the e-mail address you used during registration. Your only hope is to create a new e-mail account at Gmail or similar and then create a new registration here on TVWBB. If you let me know when you've done that, I can transfer your existing account info to your new registration so you maintain your post history, karma points, profile, etc.

Regards,
Chris
