Hello everyone, does any have a healthy Brown rice recipe that is tasty? I'm trying to lower my weight and plain brown rice does not taste to good to me. I'm willing to try anything as long as its a healthy addition to the Rice. Thanks

Don't have a recipe but I do enjoy brown rice....
Some ideas: Use stock (defatted)in place of water, if no stock use some chicken or beef base to flavor(no other salt needed) add chopped onion, parsley too add fresh mushrooms These items can turn brown rice into a meal almost, little to no fat but lots o flavor. Peach Kissed Q |

Garlic, Ginger (minced fine) and a tablespoon or so of korean chilie (I'm sure that any would work). Cook it in a pressure cooker and it will be much more tender.

I'm not sure if you use the minute kind that microwaves but when I do it I add some lemon juice with the water to steam it and it gives it a nice citrus flavor. I also love broccoli so I mix broccoli in too
