So, Folks, I Went to Wally World today, and found some HUMONGOUS Jalapeños @ $1.29 per pound, and bought a load 'o dem suckas! Need to tell you that the only thing I'm doin' right now wit um (Okay, I'm no Cajun, but since I'm talking in that vernacular) is making ABTs.

I'm waiting for a crowd to serve 'em, but since sons # 1 & 2 - as well as the neighbors who show up for feetsbawl - will not be available to watch the Skins/Ravens preseason game because of the left-turn-only nasty car show being broadcast simultaneously - my question is, can I jus core 'em and freeze 'em in a freezer bag 'til I'm ready to stuff 'em - or, do I need to blanch 'em?

If I just put 'em in a bag, how long can I keep them frozen????

Your shared experiences on this subject would be appreciated!

Regards,

Rooster

No, you do not need to blanch them. They'll keep quite a while.

Thanks for the response, Kevin.

And a curse upon whomever invented these tasty little morsels - I must say I've developed quite an addiction to them!
