Has anybody seen these or used them yet? I found it last weekend and have used it twice already. It adds 76 in. of cooking space. Nice little addition to the Performer, now to run out and get another one for my new to me Gold 22.5!!!

George I'm heading to the store where I bought mine tomorrow. I believe they had three left. I'm picking up one for a buddy also. You want me to score you the other one if available?

Mike,
Thanks for the link. I found one of these a few years ago and I wanted a couple of more. I just ordered two. I never thought I would see them for sale other than on ebay.
Thanks again!

I bought one at a local Ace Hardware.

They had one left. I'm guessing I should go buy it if they are no longer available.

They're still widely available in Europe. My neigbour (who I recently converted to the Weber persuasion) bought one, so now I have to get one too Smiler

Amazing.

Right. Here I thought my eyes were playing tricks on me. I'll let the demand fall off so the price can settle before purchasing. It's not the money, but the priciple.

Normally I would agree, but since this is a discontinued and not widely available item, I would probably pay the extra four bucks. I'm glad that I ordered two before the price increase.

I bought mine before the price hike too.
It is much heavier than I thought it would be too.
It is actually very nice.
I am suprised it did not sell well and got discontinued.
But, I did not know it even existed until this thread.
I had never seen one anywhere before or I would have bought it then.

I should'a got two as well.

Think I'll buy another one because "It is much heavier than I thought it would be..." and "It is actually very nice".
Agree 100%

Shaun, I'm planning ordering one, or 2 for myself. That, and maybe the grill pan. I've read that is a pretty good accessory as well.

Did you want to split shipping? Anyone else in the San Jose area want one?
