Bought a Maverick ET-7 about a year and half ago and really like it.

i got a taylor for $12 and several oregon ones when lowes had them on sale for $9 long ago. all have worked perfectly. not sure about new ones.

I love my Nu-Temp thermometers. I have 3 transmitters and 1 receiver. I heard from someone on here that they might be back ordered. 1 thing you should know before you buy a new temp, there is no off button and the door on the transmitters has screws. I use mine a lot, so it's not an issue for me. I change the batteries once every 10-12 months.
