Pork for me too, but it's a tough decision! Not much beats a good well aged steak or a prime rib.

Tough poll. I love both cow and pork on the smoker. Pork is the king though when it comes to smoking IMO. I just love my beef in so many other aspects. I had to vote beef.

Wow, that was tough. Seriously, I had to consider all the varieties of each food and it was a toss up between beef and pork. Pork won out because of all the amounts of smoked pork varieties I enjoy, as well as tenderloin.

I went with chicken thinking I can get the eggs too. That is an interesting topic for around the smoker though!

Looks like I am the only vote for fish. While I love beef and chicken and pork, the broad category of "fish" gave me many, many more options (many kinds of fish, shellfish, roe, etc).

Hard call here. Had to go with beef. For me it doesn't get any better then a perfect ribeye.

I almost said pork, because I like barbecued pork (ribs or butt or whatever) better than any other meat, but then I got to thinking. I love pork, but there's more variety in beef that I like, so if I had to stick to one animal, gotta be the cow. Steaks, roast, ribs, various ways of doing cuts that can be sliced thin or chopped. Just don't enjoy pork as many different ways as beef.

I had to go with Beef. I will miss grilled pork tenderloins, pulled pork, ribs and bacon. But I will drown my sorrows in ribeye, prime rib, brisket, beef ribs, stews, french style pot roasts, beef barley soup, chili and burgers... Beef beef glorious beef.

Burger can be made with a good mince of pork to and have the room to sear them harder then pure beef without dry out,if u think good burgers can only be made off beef TRY pork.

On the flip side, most people think the only ribs worth eating are pork. Well I have news for you, get yourself some beef ribs, cover with wolfe bold rub, smoke with pecan wood and finish with a tangy vinegar bbq sauce.

I chose beef cause it has more uses outside the bbq world. You can make soups and stews, salads, pasta dishes etc... Although the no bacon thing is really itching the back of my brain... Sorry Wolgast you intrigue me with your pork burgers but, I'm sticking with beef.
