I never realized it, but I'm kind of a rare breed around here. I'm 25 and I've been a member since I was 24...

I need to do more listening and less talking. Looks like the majority of y'all have been doing this since around the time of my birth.

Seems I been around some kina smoker all my life ! Iam 55 my long gone Gran mother had a smoke house in Ky and here in the Detroit area IF you know the folks there goood smoke Q all over . we been smoken meat all my life but never on somthing as fancy as my WSM :O) its like having a Cadalac IMo compared to what I have used in the past .

Now when I get get my next ck up and the dr sees my test reports from all this pork Iam gona be in crap . The advatage of being young is you can get away with eating more often . So i just eat less and smoke more If that makes any sense . Around here at election time they go back in time and fire up the smokers and serve rib tips and pulled pork so folks a come listen the BULL but its worth it :O) some a these folks can turn out some great Q specialy the older patient ones :O) so there somthing to be said for us older folks :O) someone has to teach the younguns how to do it right LOL :O)

don't need no stinken computerised gagets to get a cooker right I was tellen a older gentleman that sells q on a corner here and has for 50 yrs about those gadgets while we shared some of his PP and he laughed his arse off . So next time a old smoker talks LISTEN there a wealth of info stop by and say hi and get to know them if there any around your area there most always willing to talk and pass on tricks of the trade even a secret recipe now and then .

Yeah, I turn the big 5-0 this year. But remember, there's a pc curve in the equation. Working retail and keeping track of customers, I've noticed that the older someone is, it seems less likely that they are going to be active on the internet. Just my observation... So the old timers my not be aware/active on the TVWBB...
