I cooked a turkey on the performer today and it came out great. I used the rotisserie and a couple of maple chunks and it was nice and juicy!!

Great looking bird. How did the skin come out? was it crispy like when cooked in an oven?
I wanted to smoke mine for x-mas but i'm afraid of the leather skin.
Let me know how yours came out.

The turkey looks great.

Do you happen to have larger forks in the back or how did you attach the rear end? I've tried using the rotisserie in the past and thought I had it hooked well enough only to see it go out of balance as the bird cooked.

Thanks,
