This is one I smoked about a week before Thanksgiving. I'm just not getting around to posting about it due to issues with the camera.

The turkey (my first one ever) came out great. It was moist and had a great flavor. It was smoked with apple wood and seasoned with Jack Stack Poultry rub. I was a bit leery of this store-bought rub at first, but it ended up being quite good.

About an hour and a half in

And done

Thanks guys. I was very pleased that my first attempt with turkey came out as well as it did. I cooked a second one for a Thanksgiving dinner on Sunday and it was just as good. My success would not have been possible if not for TVWB.
