Well I decided to deep fry a Turkey this year for the first time ever. I bought a Butterball Turkey Fryer and an 11 pound Butterball Turkey. I also bought two gallons of Peanut oil and all the trimmings. The fryer worked like a charm and it was the best tasting Turkey I've ever made! It's not BBQ but it is good. Big Grin

Great looking plate. I have only had fried turkey once. I didn't really care for it but the turkey I had wasn't seasoned or anything. Yours looks real tasty.

I would have burned my house down trying to fry inside.
WOW! it really turned out nice looking.
I've seen them come out black before.

Mike - looks great.

I'm thinking of getting the same fryer.

How long did it take to get the oil up to temp ?

How long did it take to cook ?
