Harry, as a New Englander, I am wondering if you ever have the need to insulate your pits. If so, do you use a product designed and marketed specifically for the WSM, or have you instead fashioned/improvised your own solution?

I think you can find a WSM blanket on the Internet. I'm cheap so I get the water blanket insulation from HomeD (see on the TLC Pitmasters) and it works really well.
