I am trying to decide between a Q100 and a Q120.

I read on wikipedia that "Above 8000 feet lighters with piezo-electric ignition are no longer reliable."

Has anyone ignition problems with the Qx20 at high altitudes? It seems like the x20 models come with the piezo ignition, since I am going to take mine camping at around 7600 feet and I wonder if I am going to have a problem.

Thanks,
Russell

If you have a problem use a match.
The electronic (battery operated) is by far the best as is the Q120 over the Q100. The side tables are invaluable when cooking when you need to rest something.

I guess to each his own ! I prefer piezo starters they seem to last forever and the electronic ones always seem to have a dead battery just about the time I don't have a match handy or a new battery :O)

As for side tables I set my 100 on our picnic table so no need for side tables Big Grin

But of course YMMV
