I've added an article to the website that explains the steps you need to take to make sure TVWB gets credit for your Amazon.com purchases.

All About TVWB & Amazon.com

I really appreciate the financial support from those who use the Amazon links on TVWB. It makes a big difference. Smiler

Regards,
Chris

Hi Chris,
If I go through TVWB and order DVDs or CDs, does that count?

Yes, all items purchased help support TVWB, not just barbecue items.

Just wanted to bump this message to the top of the list, especially for new members.

As I've said before, I really appreciate this support. Cost for hosting the BB has more than doubled in the past couple of months, so any support you can offer really helps.

Other ways to Support TVWB are listed here:

Chris

Thank you, Dennis! It's important for people to remember to click that link BEFORE you start adding items to your Amazon shopping cart, otherwise TVWB does not get credit. Frowner

Chris, I think this site is very valuable, that is why I used your link to buy mine; i surfed and found some possible better deals; but the bottom line is: The value of this "community" is worth far more than a few dollars IMHO... THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THIS SITE

Chris:

If we edit our favorites button to be http://www.amazon.com/exec/obi...edirect-home/tvwb-20 instead of http://www.amazon.com, will that accomplish the same thing? Or does Amazon track pack to referring IP address?

Amazon has a number of regional sites: .CA .CN .FR .DE .CO.JP .CO.UK

Can TVWB benefit from purchases made on these sites?

No. TVWB only participates in the U.S. Amazon affiliate program.

Thanks, Chris! I didn't realize that ANY purchase made with the link above will benefit the virtualbullet. I've added that link to my Favorites. Rich

Edit: Oops. Neither of those works now. <Bunch of confusing URLs deleted by Moderator>

These two links work, I just confirmed them:

http://www.amazon.com/exec/obi...ome/thevirtualweberb
http://www.amazon.com/exec/obi...edirect-home/tvwb-20

Do not pay any attention to how the links resolve once you arrive at Amazon. As long as you use these to enter Amazon, everything you put into your cart regardless of how the URL looks will be credited to TVWB.

Thanks!
Chris
