Tried this yesterday. Great flavor. Was actually my first time using celery salt in anything....lol.
Brisket Rub #4 (My Oklahoma Joe's modification) # 3/4 cup Brown Sugar # 1/4 cup kosher salt # 2 tablespoons granulated garlic # 2 tablespoons granulated onion # 2 tablespoons paprika # 2 tablespoons chili powder # 1 tablespoon celery salt # 1 tablespoon freshly ground black pepper # 1 teaspoon Worcestershire Black Pepper http://www.spiceplace.com/mcco...stershire-pepper.php # 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper Here's the original of the above rub Ingredients in red were changed/ omitted Oklahoma Joe's. # 1/4 cup kosher salt # 1/4 cup sugar # 2 tablespoons garlic powder # 2 tablespoons onion powder # 2 tablespoons Spanish paprika # 2 tablespoons chili powder # 1 tablespoon celery salt # 1 tablespoon lemon pepper # 1 tablespoon freshly ground black pepper # 1 teaspoon freshly ground white pepper # 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper Smokey Joe 18.5" WSM 1 Weber Kettle |
